Lust, Treachery, & Decapitation: A Christmas Story

"Sir Gawain & the Green Knight" is an authentic tale from the annals of King Arthur.  Tom Lee's retelling is based on a version written in Middle English by an anonymous poet some time around 1400.

This amazing story begins with the Christmas feast at Camelot being disrupted by the arrival of the otherworldly Green Knight, who challenges the assembled company to a gruesome game.

Sir Gawain, the hero of the tale, is destined to pursue the Green Knight through the winter landscape of Northern Wales.  Along the way, he encounters more insidious challenges of lust and deceit which test his honor as a knight.

This performance is approximately one hour; it may be expanded with the addition of music.
